The My Account Page for Homeowners

The “My Account” page of the Price Doctor system is your starting place for staring any plans, accessing existing designs, viewing your received estimates and quotes and also viewing details on any live jobs you currently have up and running.

The first page you enter on is the “Start a New Project” page. From this page you can see any projects that you have started and when they were started and also start a new project.

There are several different levels of account for homeowners within Price Doctor (see here for details on different account types).

If you have a Demo account you can pick only 1 project type to create a plan for. With a Home Expert account you can create 1 of each of the available plans and the same goes for the Home Project Manager account (although you have access to all of the project management features with this account).

If you have already started a plan or design, to view it’s details click on the “My Existing Designs” tab towards the top of the screen. Here you will see a list of designs you have already created. To view it, simply click on the View Project button.

If you are collaborating with a builder on a project and have asked them to provide you with an estimate or quote, if you click on the “Received Quotes / Estimates” tab then you will be able to view any and all quotes that have come in. To view the quotes details, simply click on View Quote/Estimate.

Depending on the type of homeowner account you have (either Home Expert or Home Project Manager) will determine whether you can in fact use the “Live Jobs” tab.

The “Live Jobs” tab is for use with the Home Project Manager account and its primary use is for project managing large projects such as extensions and new builds.

If you have an extension design that you are keen to do, then you can convert that “Design” into a “Job” and then use all of Price Doctors project management tools such as adding notes for each construction stage, uploading supporting images/docs etc?
