Help using Price Doctor’s Pricing Service

Price Doctor allows you to price your own projects using easy to use calculators. However, if you are pushed for time or have a complicated project to price you can send us the plans and we will price them for you. This service is available to all users, both trade and homeowners.

Help With Our Pricing Service:

You will need to create an account for us to price the plans which you send us, but if you are unsure if you want to go ahead or anything else, please feel free to send the plans or get in touch:

We can create your account at any point, but it is needed in order to return the details of the priced-up plans. You can upload your plans from inside your account which, if they are large, avoids problems with emails.

Making Changes to the Priced-up Jobs:

In your account you will be able to make changes yourself, or if you prefer this is something which we can do for you.

We work in whichever way is more convenient for you.

Checking the Pricing:

The onus is on you to check the plans and pricing work once returned to you. We are happy to make any amendments or updates after your review. Please do not send the pricing work to your client without checking thoroughly first.

We make every effort to avoid any errors and will discuss any assumptions we make or queries which we might have. Having not seen the project except for the plans there will inevitably be some things which we will not be aware of or are not obvious in the plans, so it is helpful if you can indicate things that you need to have included.

We record specific items which you will typically want to have included, in particular we will record your labour rates, but if there is anything you want to have recorded for all future pricing jobs let us know and they will be included going forward.

Schedule of Works and Express Services:

If you have a schedule of works with your plans, we can price this also, however due to the additional time required to rework the calculations into the required format, there is an additional charge.

Should you need your job price and returned to you in 24 hours, we can do this. There is an additional charge for this express service.

Payment terms:

Payment is required in advance of commencing any pricing work. This can be by internet transfer or by card payment from inside your Price Doctor account.

The pricing work will be returned to you with in 5 working days of receipt of both plans and payment (1 working day, if you opt for the express service). If further details are required to complete the pricing work, then there might be delays.
